    Percy FawcettUnsolved Crimes & Disappearances

    From a spot he calls Dead Horse Camp, Fawcett sends out a last letter to his wife Nina, carried back by native guides. He reports the party is pressing east across the Upper Xingu and signs off, 'You need have no fear of any failure.' Nothing more is ever confirmed heard from any of the three.

    Dr David Kelly's deathUnsolved Crimes & Disappearances

    BBC journalist Andrew Gilligan reports on Radio 4's Today programme that the government had "sexed up" its September 2002 dossier on Iraqi weapons, including the claim that some weapons could be deployed within 45 minutes. The report, attributed to a senior anonymous source, triggers a furious dispute between the BBC and Downing Street.
