Antisemitic canards
A small set of false claims about Jews has been recycled for nine centuries, each era repackaging the last: ritual-murder libels, a forged plan for world domination, a hidden hand behind finance, revolution or migration. These files exist to report those myths as debunked hoaxes and to name the reputable evidence against them, never to repeat the smear as fact. Every entry is rated debunked; the target throughout is the trope and the people who spread it, never the community it maligns.

The claim that 4,000 Jews were warned to skip work at the World Trade Center on 9/11, so that no Jews died in the attacks, is a debunked antisemitic hoax
In the days after the 11 September 2001 attacks, a rumor took hold that roughly 4,000 Jews or Israelis who worked at the World Trade Center had been secretly warned in advance and stayed home, and that as a result no Jews died. The claim is false. It grew out of a genuine 12 September 2001 Jerusalem Post story reporting that Israel's Foreign Ministry had received the names of about 4,000 Israelis feared to have been near the World Trade Center or the Pentagon, a list of people to check on, which was twisted into a list of people who suspiciously failed to show up for work. Jewish New Yorkers died in the towers in numbers proportionate to their share of the local population, an estimated 10 to 15 percent of the victims, and five Israeli citizens were killed. This file explains where the hoax came from, how it spread through outlets such as Syria's Al Thawra and Hezbollah's al-Manar, why it endures, and why every credible source has rejected it. The target here is the hoax, never the community it defames.
Read the case file →The United States and other Western states are secretly run by a Jewish or Zionist cabal, the Zionist Occupied Government, which directs policy behind the elected one
ZOG is a fifty-year-old antisemitic slur wearing the costume of political analysis. The acronym was coined in 1976 by an American neo-Nazi, appeared repeatedly in The Turner Diaries in 1978, and passed into general white supremacist use through the 1980s, producing the slogans Smash ZOG, Kill ZOG and Death to ZOG. Conspiracy Watch traces it directly to the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the fabricated text that supplied the template of a secret Jewish plan for world domination. What makes it durable is not its argument but its shape. Four letters look like jargon rather than an insult, which lets the oldest libel in European politics travel through spaces that would reject the plain wording, and lets people repeat it while believing they are discussing lobbying or alliances. That is measurable. Fighting Online Antisemitism compared two 38-day windows around the 2026 Iran war and found ZOG rising from 49 to 63 percent of the antisemitic content it tracked, with the same material drawing double the likes and ten times the shares.

On 30 July 2026, between 50,000 and 60,000 people crossed from Morocco into the Spanish city of Ceuta. Spain declared an emergency and at least 72 people died. The causes were on the public record within days: a Spanish Supreme Court ruling of 8 July that smuggling networks distorted and marketed, the state of Spanish-Moroccan relations, and a decade of pressure on Europe's asylum system. That is not the story that spread. Within hours, a false claim took hold that Israel had engineered the crossing, using Morocco as an instrument, to punish Spain for condemning the war in Gaza. Researchers at the Combat Antisemitism Movement's Antisemitism Research Center counted 173 high-impact posts from 119 named influencer accounts in the first 72 hours, generating 57.5 million views and an estimated reach of 103.1 million. The evidence offered was manufactured: a threat attributed to Benjamin Netanyahu that appears nowhere but the post that invented it, a claim of a Mossad admission sourced to a labelled parody account, and a statement invented for the actor Javier Bardem, who said no such thing. This file reports the claim as the antisemitic hoax it is. Both governments concerned have publicly contradicted it, no evidence for it exists, and its structure is a direct descendant of the Kalergi Plan and great replacement libels.
Read the case file →German elites are deliberately orchestrating a "Bevolkerungsaustausch," a population exchange replacing ethnic Germans with Muslim migrants, and mass "remigration" is the remedy
'Bevolkerungsaustausch' (population exchange) is the German label for the Great Replacement: the false conspiracy claim that the country's changing demographics are not the organic result of migration and birth rates but a deliberate plot to replace the ethnic-German population with Muslim and non-European migrants, engineered by elites, the left, or, in a barely-coded antisemitic version, 'globalists.' 'Remigration' is the movement's sanitized term for the proposed answer: the mass removal of immigrants, and, as set out by the identitarian Martin Sellner at a secret 2023 gathering near Potsdam, of naturalized citizens categorized by ethnic origin. This file separates a real fact from a false claim. Germany's population is changing, driven by asylum, EU free movement, labor migration, and low birth rates; that is not in dispute. The claim that it is being orchestrated as a covert 'exchange' is unsupported by any evidence and is a white-nationalist doctrine with a lineage running from Nazi 'Umvolkung' through Camus to the modern AfD. German courts have judged the citizen-'remigration' idea anti-constitutional, and the replacement premise has fueled deadly far-right violence. The theory is debunked; this page reports it as the hate movement it is.
Read the case file →The "contubernio judeo-masónico," the claim that a secret alliance of Jews, Freemasons, and Communists plotted to destroy Catholic Spain, is the debunked antisemitic conspiracy myth that Franco's dictatorship was built on
The 'contubernio judeo-masónico-bolchevique' was the master conspiracy theory of the Spanish far right: the false, antisemitic claim that Spain's troubles were not the work of ordinary politics but of a hidden pact between Jews, Freemasons, and Communists bent on destroying Catholic Spain. This file separates a real history from a false claim. The conspiracy was invented, not discovered. Its evidence was the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion, translated and annotated for Spanish readers by the priest Juan Tusquets in 1932 and amplified by the police propagandist Mauricio Carlavilla and the Falangist writer José María Pemán. The one thing the myth could never supply was conspirators: as the historian Paul Preston documents in Architects of Terror, there were only about 3,000 Jews in Spain before 1933 and Freemasonry was a marginal society, yet the regime cast both as an all-powerful enemy. The fantasy did enormous real harm. It was used to justify the July 1936 coup and the mass executions of the Civil War, and it was written into law in 1940, when a special tribunal was created to prosecute Freemasons; that court processed tens of thousands of cases. Franco held the belief until his death, invoking a 'Masonic conspiracy' in his last public speech in October 1975. The theory is debunked; this page reports it as the hate myth it was.
Read the case file →Hidden 'crypto-Jews,' the descendants of the Dönme, secretly ran the Young Turk revolution, founded the Turkish Republic, and covertly control Turkey's politics and media
The Dönme 'crypto-Jew' conspiracy takes a small, real religious community and turns it into an all-powerful secret hand behind the Turkish state. The Dönme are genuine: descendants of Jews who followed the self-proclaimed messiah Sabbatai Zevi into conversion to Islam in 1666 and who lived for centuries as an endogamous community in Salonica, keeping some Jewish-rooted traditions in private while practicing Islam in public. From that real history a false claim is built: that hidden Dönme secretly orchestrated the 1908 Young Turk revolution, covertly created and run the secular Republic, and control Turkey's politics and press to this day. This file keeps the two apart. It reports what is actually documented about the Dönme, then shows how their fluid identity and old secrecy were weaponized, with help from the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion, into a major current of Turkish antisemitism. Scholars Marc David Baer, Rifat Bali, and Türkay Salim Nefes, and the Moshe Dayan Center, are cited on both the real history and the debunk. The target of this page is the conspiracy theory, never the people it defames.
Read the case file →A shadowy foreign "Üst Akıl" (the "Mastermind" or "supra-mind") secretly directs every plot against Turkey, and pro-government media have identified it with a centuries-old Jewish conspiracy for world domination
'Üst akıl,' usually translated as the 'Mastermind' or 'supra-mind,' is the name Turkish pro-government discourse gives to an invisible foreign intelligence said to be secretly steering every threat to the country: the 2013 Gezi Park protests, the 2016 coup attempt, the PKK insurgency, currency crises, even criticism in the foreign press. This file separates two different things. That foreign powers have interests in Turkey, and that Turkey has a real history of foreign intervention, is not in dispute. The claim rated here is different: that one concealed 'Mastermind' coordinates all of these unrelated events, and, in the version broadcast by pro-government media, that this Mastermind is a Jewish conspiracy for world domination. In 2015 the pro-AKP channel A Haber aired a roughly two-hour 'documentary' called 'Üst Akıl' that made the antisemitism explicit, claiming Jews had plotted for 3,500 years, brought down the Ottoman Empire, and manipulated world governments, a narrative Al-Monitor and MEMRI described as a modern rerun of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. The theory is debunked: there is no evidence of any single coordinating hand, the 'Mastermind' works as an unfalsifiable device for branding all dissent as foreign treason, and its Jewish-plot form is a recycled hoax. This page reports the smear; it never asserts it.
Read the case file →'Żydokomuna,' the Polish claim that Jews were collectively responsible for communism and for imposing Soviet rule on Poland, is a debunked antisemitic canard
'Żydokomuna' is the Polish version of the antisemitic 'Judeo-Bolshevism' myth: the claim that Jews collectively created communism and served as a fifth column to impose Soviet rule on Poland, and were therefore a disloyal enemy within. It grew out of the antisemitic nationalism of Roman Dmowski's National Democracy before World War I, sharpened after the 1919-1920 Polish-Soviet War, and outlived the interwar Republic to drive the 1946 Kielce pogrom and the Communist state's own 1968 'anti-Zionist' campaign, which expelled most of the Jews who remained. This file reports the claim as what historians have established it to be: a false and lethal slur, not a description of reality. The historian André Gerrits, whose 'The Myth of Jewish Communism' anchors the debunk, shows that most Polish Jews were never communists, that the Communist Party of Poland was tiny and hostile to Jewish tradition, and that Jewish voters overwhelmingly backed Zionist, religious, and socialist-Bundist parties instead. The target of this page is the canard, never Jewish people.
Read the case file →The claim that Jews secretly control global finance, media, and politics and conspire against Malaysia and Islam is a debunked antisemitic conspiracy theory, mainstreamed in a country with almost no Jews
In Malaysia, the idea that a hidden Jewish power secretly runs global finance, the media, and world politics, and schemes against Malaysia and Islam, is not a fringe belief but a mainstream one, despite the country having almost no Jewish population. That combination makes it a classic case of 'antisemitism without Jews.' This file reports the belief as what it is: a debunked antisemitic conspiracy theory, imported from European Jew-hatred and the forged 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion,' not a description of reality. The Anti-Defamation League's 2014 Global 100 survey found roughly 61 percent of Malaysian adults holding antisemitic attitudes, and the psychologist Viren Swami's research traces how the belief functions socially and politically rather than resting on any evidence. The trope has been promoted by senior figures, most prominently former prime minister Mahathir Mohamad, whose on-the-record remarks the ADL and others have called antisemitic. Throughout, the page keeps two things apart: legitimate criticism of Israeli government policy, which is normal politics, and the conspiracy theory about 'the Jews' as a secret controlling force, which is the false claim under examination. The target here is the myth, never Jewish people or Malaysians.
Read the case file →The 'Doctors' plot,' the 1953 charge that mostly Jewish Soviet physicians conspired to murder Soviet leaders for Western intelligence and 'Jewish nationalists,' was an antisemitic frame-up fabricated by Stalin's regime
The 'Doctors' plot' (Delo vrachey, the 'Doctors' case') was an antisemitic conspiracy manufactured by Stalin's regime in its final months. On 13 January 1953 Soviet newspapers announced that a ring of eminent Kremlin physicians, most of them Jewish, had been arrested for plotting to murder Soviet leaders as agents of Western intelligence and of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee, cast as a 'Jewish bourgeois-nationalist organization.' None of it was true. The doctors were innocent, the charges were fabricated, and the 'confessions' were extracted by torture. The case was the culmination of the postwar 'anti-cosmopolitan' campaign that had already produced the 1948 murder of the actor Solomon Mikhoels and the dissolution of the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee, and it unleashed a wave of state antisemitism: dismissals, denunciations, and widespread fear among Soviet Jews of a mass deportation. It collapsed almost as fast as it began. After Stalin died on 5 March 1953, the new leadership declared the charges fabricated, released the survivors, and on 4 April 1953 Pravda announced the doctors had been rehabilitated. This file reports the frame-up as what it was; its target is the fabrication, never the people it maligned.
Read the case file →The blood libel is the false, antisemitic medieval myth that Jews murder Christians, especially children, to use their blood in religious rituals
The blood libel is one of the oldest and deadliest antisemitic lies: the false claim that Jews kidnap and murder Christians, especially children, to use their blood in rituals, most often to bake unleavened bread for Passover. It began in Norwich, England, in 1144, when a monk named Thomas of Monmouth accused local Jews of ritually killing a boy, and spread across Europe in roughly one hundred documented cases over the next four centuries. Each was a fabrication, yet the accusations triggered torture, mass executions, and pogroms. The charge is not merely unproven but affirmatively false: Jewish dietary law strictly forbids consuming blood, and popes and scholars debunked it repeatedly across the centuries. This file exists to report the hoax and its harm, and to name it plainly for what it is. It never treats the accusation as true; the target throughout is the myth, never Jewish people.
Read the case file →Holocaust denial and distortion, the antisemitic claim that the Nazi genocide of European Jews was faked or grossly exaggerated, is a debunked falsehood contradicted by overwhelming documentary, forensic, and testimonial evidence
Between 1933 and 1945, Nazi Germany and its collaborators carried out the systematic, state-organized murder of roughly six million European Jews, alongside millions of Roma, disabled people, Soviet prisoners, and others. Holocaust denial is the antisemitic claim that this genocide did not happen, or that it has been wildly exaggerated and invented by Jews for political and financial gain. It is not history; it is a hoax. The evidence against it is overwhelming and comes from multiple independent streams: the Nazis’ own bureaucratic records, the physical remains of the killing centers, forensic findings, the confessions of the perpetrators who ran the camps, demographic records, and a vast body of survivor and bystander testimony. This file centers that evidence and names the denial movement for what it is. It reports the deniers’ assertions only to rebut them, and it treats the genocide as documented fact, not as a matter still in dispute.
Read the case file →The George Soros “puppet master” conspiracy theories are a debunked, antisemitic trope in modern political dress, recycling the old myth of a rich Jew secretly controlling the world
George Soros is a real person: a Holocaust survivor, hedge-fund investor, and philanthropist whose Open Society Foundations openly bankroll liberal, human-rights, and pro-democracy work worldwide. Criticizing that spending is legitimate politics. This file is about something else, the sprawling conspiracy theory that casts Soros as a secret “puppet master” pulling the strings behind protests, immigration, crime, and elections. That theory is false, and its architecture is old. The Anti-Defamation League, the American Jewish Committee, and the Southern Poverty Law Center all identify it as a modern edition of a centuries-old antisemitic myth: the fantasy of a rich, rootless Jew secretly manipulating nations, the same myth forged into the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Its concrete claims, paid protesters, a funded migrant caravan, controlled prosecutors, rigged voting machines, have each been fact-checked false. This file reports the trope as the debunked, antisemitic hoax it is, and never asserts any of its accusations as fact.
Read the case file →The 'Kalergi Plan' is a fabricated white-genocide conspiracy theory with no basis in reality: a supposed secret blueprint to abolish white Europeans by mass immigration and interracial mixing, falsely attributed to the pan-European pioneer Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi
The “Kalergi Plan” is a fabricated claim that a secret blueprint exists to abolish the white peoples of Europe by flooding the continent with non-European migrants and encouraging interracial mixing, supposedly authored by Count Richard von Coudenhove-Kalergi, an early champion of a united Europe. No such plan exists. The name was never used in Kalergi's lifetime; it was manufactured decades after his death, chiefly by the Austrian neo-Nazi Gerd Honsik, who quoted a single speculative passage from Kalergi's 1925 essay Practical Idealism out of context and grafted an antisemitic conspiracy onto it. This file separates a real historical figure and a real book from the false story built on top of them. Kalergi predicted, hopefully and wrongly, a distant mixed humanity; he did not propose replacing anyone, and he directed no immigration. The myth is the European face of the “white genocide” conspiracy theory, and it is debunked.
Read the case file →The “Khazar theory,” the claim that Ashkenazi Jews are not “really” Jewish but descend from Turkic Khazar converts, is a debunked pseudoscientific trope used to deny Jewish identity
The “Khazar theory” starts from a real historical detail and turns it into a smear. The Khazars were a medieval Turkic people whose ruling class is thought to have converted to Judaism around the eighth century, and their empire faded after the tenth. From that kernel the modern trope makes a false claim: that Ashkenazi Jews are overwhelmingly the descendants of converted Khazars rather than of ancient Judeans, and so are “fake” Jews with no Semitic ancestry and no ancestral connection to Israel. This file treats the documented history and the false conspiracy claim as two separate things. It reports what is actually known about the Khazars, sets out why population genetics and mainstream historians, the Hebrew University scholar Shaul Stampfer prominent among them, reject the mass-descent claim as unsupported junk science, and names how the idea is used, by white supremacists to delegitimize Jews as impostors and by some anti-Zionists to deny Jewish indigeneity. The target of this page is the hoax, never the Jewish community it maligns.
Read the case file →'Judeo-Bolshevism,' the claim that Jews created and controlled communism to destroy Western civilization, is a debunked antisemitic canard that served as a rationale for genocide
'Judeo-Bolshevism' is the antisemitic conspiracy theory that Jews, as a people, created and secretly controlled communism in order to destroy Western and Christian civilization from within. It took hold during the 1917 Russian Revolution and the civil war that followed, drew on the forged 'Protocols of the Elders of Zion,' and became one of the central beliefs of Nazism, invoked to justify the 1941 invasion of the Soviet Union and the mass murder of Europe's Jews. This file reports the claim as what historians have established it to be: a false and lethal slur, not a description of reality. The historian Paul Hanebrink and institutions like the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum document both why the myth is baseless, Jews were a small minority of the Bolsheviks and were among communism's victims, and why it proved so durable, spreading long after 1945 and echoing today in 'cultural Bolshevism' and 'cultural Marxism.' The target of this page is the canard, never Jewish people.
Read the case file →The 1840 Damascus Affair was a false, antisemitic blood-libel accusation that drew international attention and was officially repudiated by the Ottoman Sultan
In February 1840, a Capuchin friar known as Father Thomas and his Muslim servant disappeared in Damascus. Within days the city's small Jewish community was accused of murdering the pair to drain their blood for Passover matzo, a revival of the medieval “blood libel.” The accusation was pushed by the French consul, Ulysse de Ratti-Menton, and Ottoman-Egyptian authorities extracted confessions through brutal torture; prisoners died in custody and dozens of Jewish children were seized to pressure their parents. The case became an international scandal. A delegation led by the British Jewish leader Moses Montefiore and the French lawyer Adolphe Crémieux secured the release of the survivors, and in November 1840 the Ottoman Sultan Abdülmecid I issued a firman denouncing the ritual-murder charge as a groundless slander. This file reports the affair for what it was: a false, antisemitic accusation, extracted under torture and formally repudiated, not a crime the Jewish community committed.
Read the case file →The “Andinia Plan,” a claim that Jews plotted to seize Patagonia for a breakaway Jewish state, is a debunked antisemitic myth with no documentary basis
The “Andinia Plan” (Plan Andinia) is a false, antisemitic conspiracy theory that claims Jews, or the State of Israel, secretly plot to seize Patagonia and establish a breakaway Jewish state in the south of Argentina and Chile. It has no documentary basis whatsoever: the Anti-Defamation League describes it as an allegation without evidence, and historians trace it not to any real plan but to the forged Protocols of the Elders of Zion, rewritten in an Argentine key. The myth surfaced among army officers in a 1971 leaflet and was propagated through the 1970s by the ultranationalist economist Walter Beveraggi Allende. It hardened into state paranoia during the 1976–1983 military dictatorship, when interrogators tortured Jewish prisoners, among them the editor Jacobo Timerman, demanding details of an invasion that did not exist. It resurfaces in each new crisis, most recently to blame Israeli tourists for wildfires. This file reports the myth as the debunked hoax it is; it never asserts the plot as real.

In August 2009 the Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet published an article implying that the Israeli military kills Palestinians and harvests their organs. It named no proof, and its author later said plainly that he did not know whether the allegation was true and only wanted it investigated. The family at the center of the piece said they had never told him their son's organs were taken. The story nonetheless spread worldwide and has resurfaced in every subsequent Israeli-Palestinian crisis. This file reports it for what reputable sources say it is: a false accusation, and a modern iteration of the antisemitic blood libel, the medieval charge that Jews murder innocents to use their bodies. It keeps that hoax strictly separate from a real, documented 1990s scandal, in which the Abu Kabir forensic institute retained tissue from cadavers without consent. That episode was about unauthorized retention from the already dead, not a plot to kill people for their organs, and it does nothing to support the murder claim.
Read the case file →The claim that Israel and the United States secretly created ISIS is a debunked conspiracy theory rooted in a fabricated hoax
As the Islamic State overran swaths of Iraq and Syria in 2014, a family of conspiracy theories claimed the group was not a jihadist movement at all but a Western creation. The most viral version asserted that leaked Edward Snowden documents proved Israel's Mossad, working with British and American intelligence, had engineered ISIS in an operation called “Hornet's Nest.” Fact-checkers traced the story to a fabricated post with no basis in Snowden's actual archive; the reporters who hold those files and Snowden's lawyer confirmed no such document exists. This file treats the theory as what it is: a debunked hoax that grafts a fake secret document onto a real, painful conflict. It separates the documented origins of ISIS as an al-Qaeda offshoot from the false claim of an Israeli-American plot, and names the antisemitic tropes the theory often carries.
Read the case file →European elites are secretly engineering a planned Islamic takeover of Europe, a debunked Islamophobic conspiracy theory known as 'Eurabia'
'Eurabia' holds that the growing Muslim presence in Europe is not the ordinary result of migration and birth rates but the product of a deliberate, hidden plan: a secret bargain in which European elites trade the continent's culture and independence to the Arab world in exchange for oil and markets, deliberately Islamizing Europe from above. The term was coined by the British-Swiss writer Bat Ye'or, who presented the real but unremarkable Euro-Arab Dialogue of the 1970s as the machinery of a civilizational surrender. This file separates a real fact from a false claim: Europe's Muslim population is growing modestly, but it is a small minority, and there is no pact, planner, or mechanism of the kind the theory requires. Named by scholars as the founding myth of contemporary Islamophobia, Eurabia is not a harmless misreading. It stands at the heart of the manifesto of the terrorist who killed 77 people in Norway in 2011, and it is a direct relative of the 'great replacement' and 'Kalergi Plan' myths. It is debunked.
Read the case file →'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion' is a genuine record of a Jewish plot to control the world
'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion' claims to be the secret record of Jewish leaders plotting to rule the world. It is a fabrication, and among the most comprehensively debunked documents ever written. Produced in the Russian Empire in the early 1900s, much of its content was lifted, sometimes verbatim, from Maurice Joly's 1864 satire 'Dialogue in Hell Between Machiavelli and Montesquieu,' a book about French politics that says nothing about Jews, with further material borrowed from an antisemitic German novel. The London Times exposed the plagiarism in 1921, printing the parallel passages side by side, and a Swiss court declared the text a forgery in 1935. This file does not treat the document as an open question or reproduce its supposed 'plan.' It reports what the Protocols is, a manufactured antisemitic hoax, shows how it was proven fake, and records the catastrophe it helped cause: it fueled pogroms, was spread by Henry Ford and the Nazis, and fed the propaganda that led to the Holocaust. It is debunked, and its danger is a matter of history, not theory.

Adrenochrome is a real chemical, the oxidation product of adrenaline, once studied briefly and inconclusively for mild psychoactive effects. In modern conspiracy culture it has been transformed into the imagined product of a horrific industry: a cabal of elites said to torture children to 'charge' their blood with adrenaline, then harvest adrenochrome as a life-extending drug. The story became a fixture of Pizzagate and QAnon. It is false at every level. The compound is cheap to synthesize and does nothing miraculous; there is no evidence of any harvesting; and the narrative is a modern retelling of the antisemitic blood libel, dressed in pseudo-scientific language and borrowed from fiction. The claim is debunked.
Read the case file →'Cultural Marxism' is a deliberate plot to destroy Western civilization from within
The 'Cultural Marxism' conspiracy theory holds that a deliberate plot, hatched by the Frankfurt School of Marxist thinkers, has spent decades corroding Western civilization through feminism, multiculturalism, and political correctness. This file separates the real from the conspiratorial. The Frankfurt School and its 'critical theory' genuinely existed and remain a fair subject of academic argument. But the story of a coordinated civilization-destroying scheme is a conspiracy theory: the Southern Poverty Law Center traces its modern form to 1990s activists, above all William S. Lind, and historians note that it recycles the Nazi-era slur 'Cultural Bolshevism' and its antisemitism. Sweeping, diverse social changes have many independent causes; attributing them to one secret plan is what makes the claim false. Rated as a conspiracy theory, it is debunked; the underlying intellectual history is real and open to honest debate.
Read the case file →A deliberate plot is 'replacing' white populations with non-white immigrants
The 'Great Replacement' holds that the changing demographics of Western nations are not an organic result of migration and birth rates but a deliberate plot to replace white populations, engineered by a hidden hand usually identified, openly or by implication, as Jewish elites, the political left, or 'globalists.' It was named by the French writer Renaud Camus around 2011 and draws on the older neo-Nazi 'white genocide' myth. This file separates a real fact from a false claim: demographic change is happening, but it is the sum of countless independent choices and pressures, not an orchestrated scheme, and no evidence of any coordinating plot exists. The theory is not merely wrong; it is a white-nationalist doctrine that has been named in the manifestos of mass shooters in Christchurch, El Paso, Buffalo, and beyond. It is debunked, and its consequences are documented in blood.
