Mossad is Israel's foreign-intelligence service, and Israel is a small, heavily scrutinized state at the center of a long regional conflict. That combination makes it a recurring character in conspiracy claims. A few concern genuinely disputed events, such as the 1967 Israeli attack on the USS Liberty.
